ENG3530 Undergraduate Colloquium on Sustainability (UCS) is a 1-credit course designed to engage participants in critical reading, analysis, and discussion of topics related to international sustainable development. It is a required course for the Undergraduate Certificate in International Sustainable Development Engineering.
Objectives
By the end of this course participants will:
•Define sustainability and sustainable development
•Examine how sustainability influences contemporary and future life
•Explore interconnections between the facets of sustainability
•Discover how sustainability changes solutions to contemporary problems
•Refine their critical reading, thinking, and discourse skills
Welcome to the Colloquium!
New in 2007, ENG3530 provides a venue for students and faculty to learn, discuss, and debate about international sustainable development.
